Did any of you notice anything different with Dr. Waheed on TVM running mate debate? Sure I did. All the candidates started with saluwaih to prophet Mohamed including the caliphs & them. But Dr waheed only said Bismi is the shortest form. It’s may be not a big deal to some. But it tells the hidden truth of dr waheed.
People who knows Dr waheed will already know that it happened like that because he won’t know how to recite a saluwaih to prophet Mohamed. In prayers also he only knows the steps. During one of his campaign trip in raa atoll people asked him to be the imam one night. He could not recite Al-hamdhu also properly. It was very embarrassing.
MDP will never mention these things with his profiles. But its important to include the following in his profile.
- A person who don’t know how to pray
- A person who don’t know how to recite salawaih
- A person who said, his children have religion freedom when asked if they are Muslims.
- A person who admitted he is careless in prayers.
Maybe some one can confirm more like
- If he knows how to recite Quran
- If he fasts
- If he drinks
Etc..

don't u have nothing better than do this propaganda for ibra?
check his previous speeches; He has said salawath to the prophet. Your post does not carry any weight.
Yes I noticed it.It was weird.
Good that atleast he can say Bismi.
He is no good for a running mate however much hes educated or experienced. It takes something more than education and experience.
He keeps beer in his fridge when he lives abroad.
Who decides these things? There is no formula to start a speech. I support the fact when people try to break tradition. You don't always have to follow a set formula. Otherwise what's the point of being "individual" human beings if you don't have your own unique style? If we were supposed to conform to one set of values, we should have been robots.
Anyway, why the harp so much on religion? Isn't it time to let go of myths and fantasies like that? I have let go of things like Hercules (or the various Greek myths about the gods). I wonder why other Maldivians are still finding it difficult to let go of just one more god and start leading a more rational life.
