All the move cases are high profile cases, but most will agree all these cases are all politically motivated cases. Some may believe there are substance is these cases. But most of will agree these are just cases to waste time. All the Maldivians will agree that no one can win any case against maumoon with the current situation. At the same time minister nasheed said that anni will be able to contest in the presidential election. This clearly indicates the government’s stands & guarantee that anni will be cleared in the Supreme Court. We also know this was the deal done with MDP & DRP before that both parties believe anni & maumoon will be able to compete in the elections.
Now the next rumors are that gasim is trying to influence the judges. Gasim was able to influence the parliament before to elect Shihab as the president of parliament. Gasim have to buy only three judges out of five to ban anni from contesting.
Although MDP & DRP did the deal before, I think DRP will be supporting gasim in any attempt to ban anni from contesting. It may be a remote one. But with gasim & drp together such things are possible. Let’s see what happens next. I like to have surprises. Let’s see..

I was disappointed to know that MDP and DRP is the new Ithihaadh.,... But chances are high that JP and DRP will come together and ban Anni.. If that happens MDP is a done deal... Lets c... I like surprises too...

I never beleive that MDP & DRP made deals. but after reading the artical in haveeru i was suprised to see how corrupt these parties are.

what will happen if the supreme court decides Maumoon cant contest?
DRP will not side with JP. DRP knows that its only hope of winning is a contest with the (just as) morally corrupt MDP. Hassan Saeed and Gasim are the only viable challenge to gayoom. DRP knows this. MDP knows this. Hence the power sharing deal being worked out between MDP and DRP.
how do you guys know all these things? I can't seem to figure out which is which..and no two people, or newspaper or blog say the same thing. It's so confusing.

politics is dirty bussiness. It will never be clean. whats the big deal?
More deals will happen in the future.
I think Maumoon will loose the case. Maumoon feels that he will loose in a poll. Therefore Maumoon thinks it is better to get rejected from the court.
