The odd pair- disabled ibra & the lady VP

It was a big surprise to most of us. Maybe the biggest blander in the recent politics of Maldives. Though it was a big surprise to most, its understood. Now all will know ibra is disable in both ways.

Mentally & physically. Even the kinder garden kids also will know that that selecting a lady for a VP is a big mistake. It will never be the right move to assign a lady with such a powerful position in politics.

Women are best suited to stay at home & look after kids. Women are too sensitive to take part in politics, women are too emotional when it comes to decision making. Women are never equal to men in Islam & law.

Some will argue women are equal, but most will agree that this is not the case in Maldives. Ibra will now loose all of his supporters. Another disable decision from a diable men.

Everybody is selecting higly educated people with Phd’s for VP’s. it’s a shame ibra can’t get a person with phd for the post.

Now all will know, I was telling the truth before also. Ibra is not suitable for the president of Maldives. He is good to keep in parliament. If we elect him, this country will be ruined because of a disable man & unqualified lady..

What a shame…

Is the author of this blog still living in uncivilized times, viewing things in such blatant discriminatory and sexist terms?

Congratulations Ibra! Your choice will go down as one of the bravest acts for women's rights and equality in the modern Maldivian history. You have shown you not only advocate rights for all, but can even act on it. I commend you for that.

Women of Maldives, it is time to stand up! If not vote for Ibra, at least send him notes of encouragement.

Selecting a female candidate for running mate is not a problem. But the question is if Ibra's choice of a running mate is a sound one. Can Nahid lead the country?

As for the blogger, he or she is either a disturbed individual or someone from Ibra camp trying to get sympathy.

Do you feel ashamed that your mother is a lady?

women are never equal to mean. read quran.
1 men equals 2 women

God is the most justified and I am sure God would not differentiate 2 humans biengs just because of their sex.

Some people use Quran, religion to fullfill their political ambitions and personal needs. This should not be the case.

2 female equals 1 male is not true.

nomatter what your sex is, it counts as 1 vote as per maldivian law. then do you say maldivian law is againts islam?
I think adaalath party also said there is nothing anti islamic in the new gaanoonu asaasee.(though i dont beleive adaalath anymore)

A person's capability to lead the country doesn't depend on the person's gender. Hence, selecting a woman running mate is not a problem.
And it is very immature of u to criticize Ibra for his physical disablement. Please be more broad-minded.
Franklin D Roosevelt, a crippled man, is an American hero. Perhaps, Ibra, our crippled man, would be the Maldivian hero? I certainly hope.

On a more personal note, fuck you.

My goodness. Your smallmindedness and arrogance are truly shocking. And you have the nerve to display your dimwit opinion with shameless arrogance.
I recommend you find a large, heavy rock and hide underneath it for as long as possible. You not only owe it to your fellow citizens but your discriminatory stance againsnt gender and physical disadvantage have no place in this day and age.
p.s. Its KINDERGARTEN, not Kinder Garden, I suggest you work on yourself to make use of your time whilst under that rock.
